Introduction

Brunei Darussalam officially the State of Brunei is a wealthy oil-rich sultanate situated on the north west coast of Borneo, in Southeast Asia. It is bounded on the North by the South China Sea and on all the other sides by Malaysian State of Sarawak. Brunei is divided into four districts, Brunei-Muara, Temburong, Tutong and Belait. The country consists of 5,765 sq km of land, most of which is still covered by large areas of tropical rainforest. Brunei’s official language is Malay but English is widely spoken. This tiny Islamic state is especially known for the legendary wealth of its Sultan, and for being one of the richest countries in Southeast Asia. The country's Culture, Heritage, Nature, lavish adornments, gold towers, majestic monuments and less-explored reaches beckon the enterprising traveller and make Brunei a unique travel destination. Brunei has a tropical climate with frequent rain and warm temperature all year round.
