The royal regalia of Brunei are kept in the Royal Regalia Building, located in Bandar Seri Begawan. The Royal Regalia Building was was established to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty's accession to the throne in 1992. The hall was built on the same site housing the Winston Churchill Memorial Building which has been renamed, modernised and extended. The hall's main feature is a fantastic new circular gallery topped with a mosaic-tiled dome which is situated in the cup of the original crescent-shaped building, built in 1971. The Royal Regalia Building was designed to incorporate the various characteristic of the philosophy of Malay Islamic Monarchy and has become another major landmark of Bandar Seri Begawan.
The ceremonial regalia on display include the Royal Chariot on which His Majesty rode enthroned during the Royal Procession, the gold and silver ceremonial armoury, replica of the throne, jewel-encrusted crowns, also on display are the many gifts and souvenirs presented to His Majesty by local and foreign dignitaries. The museum is open to the general public and entrance is free.

Sunday - Thursday: 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Friday: 9.00 am - 11.30 am & 2.30 pm - 5.00 pm
Saturday: 9.45 am - 5.00 pm
