Wat Nang Paya, Si Satchanalai, Historical Park, Thailand

Description

Wat Nang Paya means the temple of queen. According to local legend, the temple was built by Pasuja Devi, a daughter of the Emperor of China; however, there is no archaeological evidence to support this. The temple is famous for the remains of beautiful stucco-reliefs on the wall of the Vihara which are protected under the tin roof shelter.
