Maha Bandula Road and Sule Pagoda at night, Yangon, Myanmar. Legend insists the a pagoda was built here more than 2,500 years ago and once the home of a powerful spirit named Sularata. The chedi was enlarged to its present size by Queen Shin Sawbu (1453–1472).
