Cheung Chau Bun Festival

Participant in the Parade-in-the-Air at the Cheung Chau Bun Festival.

Children dressed as both legendary and modern heroes are suspended above the crowd. Though they appear to glide through the air on the tips of swords and paper fans they are all secured within hidden steel frames . Parents consider it a great honour for their offspring to be part of the parade.
