Some of the 729 'kyauksa gu' or stone-inscription caves at the Kuthodaw pagoda at the foot of Mandalay Hill, Myanmar. Each cave contains a marble slab inscribed on both sides with a page of text from the Tripitaka, the entire Pali Canon of Theravada Buddhism. The Shweyattaw Buddha Pavilion can be seen on Mandalay Hill in the background.
