Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The former government offices of the British colonial administration were built between 1894-7. The 41-metre (135 ft) clock tower chimed for the first time to coincide with Queen Victoria’s Jubilee Parade in June 1897.
