Wat Sa Si with lotus ponds, Sukhothai Historical Park, Thailand
Description
Wat Sa Si was founded towards the end of the 14th century and a well preserved bell shaped chedi in Singhalese style.
According to stone inscriptions found at the site the chedi was built to enshrine the ashes of King Li Thai of Sukhothai.
